Josephine LaSpina Trotta

Josephine helps individuals and families navigate complex financial decisions with clarity, care, and confidence. With more than 30 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, estate planning, trust services, and private banking, she is known for combining disciplined investment strategy with highly personalized financial planning solutions.

Josephine works with clients throughout northeast Ohio and across multiple states.

In 2015, Josephine cofounded Pathfinder Wealth Advisors, a Cleveland-based registered investment advisory firm, and combined her practice with Wells Trecaso – Carson Wealth in 2026. Her professional background also includes senior leadership and advisory roles at KeyBank, U.S. Bank, Merrill Lynch, UBS, Stratos Wealth Partners, and TIAA.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Cleveland State University and an MBA from John Carroll University. Josephine also attended the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University, a nationally recognized estate planning program.

An active member of the Financial Planning Association, Cleveland Roundtable of Entrepreneurial Women, and the National Association of Women Business Owners, Josephine also served on the endowment board of Villa Angela–St. Joseph High School for 19 years.

Josephine, her husband, John, and her beloved golden doodle, Leo, live in Hudson, Ohio. Outside of work, she enjoys cycling, golfing, gardening, photography, hiking with her golden doodle Leo, and traveling throughout the U.S. and abroad. She takes great pride in hosting family dinners and is well-known among family and friends for her Mediterranean-inspired gourmet cooking. Josephine is also actively involved in volunteering and fundraising efforts supporting organizations such as the American Cancer Society, The Cleveland Orchestra, and Cleveland Museum of Art.
